Starting a Business?
One of the most frustrating parts about starting a business is not knowing where to begin.
Everyone says you have to be on social media.
Or they insist you should start a podcast.
Or run ads.
So you start throwing spaghetti at the wall - posting on Instagram or Facebook, wondering when you'll get to do the actual work with the clients you want to serve.
Here's the deal. If you are starting your own thing, you are also an entrepreneur which includes being a marketer and sales person of the real thing you want to do.
It helps to have a plan - to see clearly YOUR way based on your personality, style and skill set.
You need Clarity to have Confidence and once you are confident and clear in your message, your ideal clients will find you.
Developing your unique style, mission and message is the key to growing your business and impact.
There is no one like you - with your combination of life experience, skills, gifts and purpose. If you want to bring clients into your main offer, you must become a thought leader. You must create a message that resonates with the people you are meant to serve and deliver it in the places and ways that fit your personality and preferences.
STOP doing what everyone else is doing in your industry! We need you to show up how and where you are best suited and called.

The Design your Business course was born out of my Website Design and Coaching practice.
Every time I worked with a client on their website, we had to start with several key decisions.
- Who is your ideal client?
- How do you want to serve them?
- How will they find you?
- How will they know you are the right choice?
- How will you stay in touch with them?
- How might you nurture relationships over time?
We didn't have WORDS for their website until they had a vision.
We didn't have a CALL TO ACTION until they knew what they wanted people to DO first.
We didn't know how to style the brand or the website until they thought about the look and feel best conveyed who they were and what it would be like to work with them.
Your Business Blueprint
So I began teaching my clients to Design their Business - to create a blueprint. The analogy I used was, "Imagine your Business was a House".
You are cookin' up an offer you love in the KITCHEN and you can't wait to serve it up in the DINING ROOM.
BUT.... your ideal client is out in the neighborhood she doesn't even know you exist!
Her impression when she rides by your house is your curb appeal - your BRAND STYLE.

Your favorite way to say hello is your FRONT PORCH - the ways of marketing that fit your personality and skills.

Over time, she gets to know, like and trust you because of the ways you nurture the relationship in the LIVING ROOM.
